Description:Project Estimator – Construction and Contracting DivisionTTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Project Estimator in the Construction and Contracting Division. Cost estimating and management experience with environmental construction, petroleum equipment installations, contracting services, remediation, and decommissioning is preferred. Qualified applicants shall have the ability to interact and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and governmental agencies and possess the desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct cost, schedule and risk analysis, proposal preparation.Conduct project scope and bid specification review, attend bid meetings, and review bid requirements with management team.Prepare requests for information, detailed construction budget, schedule, and projecting costs for each elevation.Evaluate offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintain continuity among teams by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Collaborate with sales teams to prepare estimates, proposals, and bid response packages.Qualifications/RequirementsA minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating in a similar position is required.Applicants need to have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project is required.Experience with ProCore preferred but not required. Strong decision making, analytical, and time management skills.Bachelor’s degree in an industry-related field, such as construction management or engineering, a bonus.Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.TTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.
