Environmental Associate 1 – NYC Metro Region

TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. Experienced, certified, and licensed professionals work directly with clients to provide sound solutions to environmental challenges. TTI is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time, entry-level position for Environmental Associate 1 in our Environmental Consulting Division. Viable candidates must be located one of the five boroughs of NYC. This position provides an opportunity for the right individual to grow and settle into higher level positions within the Environmental Consulting career field. This is a hybrid position – working from home and out of clients’ sites with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Due diligence projects including TSAs, Phase I/II ESAs, RSRA in accordance with ASTM national standards
• Perform field activities and appropriate reporting for regulatory cases in NJ, PA, DE, and/or NY
• Sampling soil, groundwater, vapor, and indoor air
• Reporting in accordance with state and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A B.S. in a related field such as Environmental Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Engineering
• 0-5 years direct regional experience in the environmental consulting field
• OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Certification a plus
• Excellent computer skills
• Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with ability to write clear, concise, and thorough environmental reports
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physical
• Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 annually, commensurate with credentials, education, and experience.
