Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Assist with inventory management including stock replenishment and merchandising
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or orders
- Support supervising staff in daily store operations as needed
- Perform basic retail math for pricing, discounts, and transaction balancing
- Conduct product knowledge demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math concepts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
- Experience supervising or leading small teams is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
