This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S persons within the meaning of ITAR. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow production schedules and ensure output meets quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and compliance regulations.
- Document production data, machine performance, and any incidents.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Understands of the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Ability to operate production equipment.
- Ensure products meet specifications and identifying defects.
- Adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding basic mechanical/electrical systems.
- Ensuring accuracy in production tasks, documentation, and inspections.
- Prioritizing tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Working effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Conveying technical information and following work instructions accurately.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings and work instructions is required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Lifting amounts up to 50 pounds is required.
- Meets vision requirements specified by quality management system.
- GED or HIgh School Diploma is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or technical production role is a plus.
- Basic mechanical or electrical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, or work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willing to work shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
