Duties And Responsibilities
- The Electrical Engineer Intern will work closely with Engineering, Leadership, & Production team members to assist with design, production, research, process flows, process improvements, and documentation.
- Interns will have the opportunity to learn about LEAN manufacturing, AS 9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards
- The Electrical Engineer Intern will attend design and product development meetings as required.
- The Electrical Engineer Intern will apply advanced engineering skills regarding electrical design, software development, and system analysis/problem solving.
- The Electrical Engineer Intern will perform schematic design using engineering principles and advanced math concepts.
- Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs.
- Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
- Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in Electrical Engineering
- Must be familiar with equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation is required
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- A creative approach to problem solving is required.
- Enjoys working and collaborating in a team environment.
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
