Role Overview And Responsibilities

Our CI Intern will be part of the 3-month summer internship designed to help you build the knowledge, insight and expertise to get ahead of the competition and better prepare you for your career after graduation. You will work side by side with our talented, cross-functional teams on projects that matter. From day one, you'll be given hands-on, meaningful work and expected to make a difference!

Duties And Responsibilities

• The Continuous Improvement Intern will be an active member of the operations team and will lead projects aimed at improving the group’s current operational challenges. These solutions will have a direct impact on the organization and its success.
• The Continuous Improvement Intern will analyze available data to assist in decision making.
• The Continuous Improvement Intern will work cross functionally with other groups to organize and implement sustainable processes to advance our day-to-day operations.
• The Continuous Improvement Intern will learn and leverage lean tools to solve challenging problems.
• Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs.
• Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills And Attributes

• Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in a STEM Field (Engineering Preferred but not required).
• Passion for creating positive change and a desire to engage with the manufacturing team.
• Creative, data driven approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
• Organize and complete detailed tasks and project work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
