Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lawn Care Foreman to lead our landscaping and maintenance teams in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture projects to ensure timely and quality completion
- Lead team members in operating equipment for mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, irrigation system installation and repair, and general landscape construction
- Oversee safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during daily operations
- Conduct site assessments to determine project scope and develop work plans tailored to client needs
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for landscape maintenance and construction tasks
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment use, safety protocols, and customer service
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on project progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields with a focus on lawn care and landscaping projects
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, and general landscape construction techniques
- Familiarity with equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery used in landscaping
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills for planning daily tasks and managing supplies efficiently
- Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor work environments
