What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at TST Hydraulics, Inc?
TST Hydraulics is a family owned & operated business specializing in the distribution and repair of fluid power components/systems. Operating since 1973, TST Hydraulics has established itself as a premier distributor of hydraulic components in New England. TST Hydraulics ships parts as well as complete assemblies across North America and beyond. We are currently looking for someone to operate our logistics department as well as assist our sales department with warehouse duties. There is no prior experience necessary to apply for this position. TST Hydraulics has in-house staff to train the right candidate.
Daily Tasks
-Pack and Prep products for shipment
-Products vary in weight/size. Must be capable of lifting 40 LBS. Assistance from colleagues is available and lifting equipment is an investment the company is willing to make.
-Use UPS WorldShip Software and other platforms to process shipments.
-Update sales software (ie Quickbooks) with shipment information.
-Receive daily inbound shipments via UPS as well as LTL pallet carriers.
-Help distribute received products to their proper department at TST Hydraulics (sales or service department)
-Maintain stock levels of shipping supplies (boxes/tape/labels/packaging material/etc)
-Keep area clean & orderly
-Assist sales team in monitoring inventory levels of specific product groups.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
