Jan/San Service Technician

TSRC, Inc. is looking for a full-time Janitorial/Sanitation Service Technician to take care of our customers’ needs in a positive, friendly, professional manner; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. Willingness to learn products, equipment, services, etc. is imperative.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS

Under direction of the Jan/San Service Supervisor, the Service Technician will

• Effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical & electrical systems for various types of commercial janitorial and laundry equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment in local Service Shop and at customers' locations.
• Provide technical training/assistance to customers in person and over the phone.
• Consistently deliver excellent service and extreme customer satisfaction in all areas.
• Assist in upkeep of the Service Shop including cleanup of the service area, parts ordering/restocking, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The incumbent will be given on the job training which includes basic troubleshooting and repair techniques for our line of commercial janitorial and laundry equipment. A company vehicle will be supplied only for the purposes of conducting on-site service calls at customers’ locations as scheduled by the Service Supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required, additional electrical or mechanical systems experience a plus
• Able to read and understand electrical prints, parts diagrams, and repair manuals.
• Able to use basic hand tools and power equipment in a safe manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, attentive to detail, and positive minded.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
