What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist position at TSRC INC?
The Supply Room has an immediate opening for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in Ashland, VA. This is a full-time position focusing on preventative maintenance and general repairs in warehouse, office, and retail facilities. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who can effectively handle repairs and coordinate with outside contractors when necessary.
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, grounds keeping, and carpentry
- Ability to triage incoming job requests and solve problems independently
- Excellent communications skills both verbally and written
- Basic math and computer skills
- Valid driver’s license and a positive points balance
- Energetic
- Efficient
- Team player
- Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs
