Performance Engineer at AP
Introduction:
As a Performance Engineer at AP, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our applications and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, analyze, and improve the performance of our systems, utilizing a variety of monitoring tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
12 Years of experience in to Persormance Engineering Experience required
- Utilize Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, and Datadog to monitor and analyze application performance.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, leveraging services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and Application Load Balancer (ALB) to optimize system performance.
- Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on query tuning, data access optimization, and distributed caching mechanisms.
- Implement Core Web Vitals best practices, browser performance optimization techniques, web rendering pipelines, and CDN performance tuning strategies.
- Conduct frontend performance analysis using tools like Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Create performance test scripts and automation using tools such as JMeter, K6, and Gatling to ensure system performance under various conditions.
- Develop dashboards for monitoring and observability using AppDynamics, Quantum Metric, ELK Stack, Grafana, and other related monitoring platforms.
- Apply performance engineering principles to optimize distributed, cloud-native, and microservices-based applications.
