ASSOCIATE SERVICE ENGINEERS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform hands-on hardware break-fix on multiple storage platforms after a short training period
- Schedule service calls and coordinate delivery of parts to meet customer SLAs
- Frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for maintenance
- Act as smart hands with direction from the Rubrik support center for Rubrik maintenance
- Perform installations of Rubrik storage equipment, including unboxing, lifting, racking/stacking, and configuration
- Install PayRange devices in multiple local locations
- Interact with IT customers, TSP technical team members, and external support organizations
- Influence customer technical representatives, including systems administrators and technical managers
- Maintain flexibility to travel outside the coverage area when required
- Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation
- Hardware troubleshooting experience in work, military service, or as a trusted technical resource for friends and family
- Good job stability reflected on the resume
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or another technical field preferred
- Positive attitude, professionalism, self-motivation, and the ability to learn quickly
- Strong sense of urgency, time management, punctuality, and customer-facing skills
- General understanding of Microsoft Outlook and professional communication skills by phone, email, and in person
- Formal and informal training toward certifications would be considered for a qualified candidate
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (business mileage will be reimbursed
- In this role, you will drive to various data center locations in your service area/region
- Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
