Position: Life Enrichment Coordinator (Activity Director)
The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for creating a vibrant, engaging environment that enhances the quality of life for
- our residents. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic,
creative, and passionate about working with the older generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a monthly calendar of meaningful, engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents
Lead and manage daily activities, ensuring participation is encouraged and supported
Adapt programming to meet a variety of physical, auditory, visual, and cognitive needs
Create experiences that are relatable, accessible, and enriching for all residents
Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and friends
Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance programming
Manage the community’s social media presence by posting high-quality photos of activities 2–3 times per week
Qualifications:
Genuine passion for engaging with and supporting older adults
Energetic, patient, and compassionate demeanor
Strong organizational and creative skills
Ability to connect with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with graphic design tools (such as Canva) is a plus
