What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny/Caregiver position at TSL Kids Crew?
Overview
I am seeking a consistent part time caregiver who can work evening hours Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 6-9. Saturdays and Sundays, up to 8 hours, flexible likely between the hours of 10-6, but perhaps not the entire timeframe. If you can't work these specific hours consistently, you need not apply. The child is six year old, nonverbal autistic but super fun, loving, and easy. He is well engaged in his routines, affectionate, agreeable, and is not a care hardship. I need someone who can support my at-home routines, which provide me breathers, the ability to do outside care of the house, errands, and fulfill my regular social schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and supervision to a 6 year old non-verbal autistic child
- Learn the child's routines and support them enthusiastically
- Engage him in activities at home ie reading, song, toys..
- Be willing to take him on walks, or bring him to the pool outside, or even transport him locally to the park or other high interest locations
- Assisting with diaper changing as needed
- Light housekeeping which entails organizing and cleaning up after him as needed
Requirements
- Someone who appreciates and has an understanding of autistic children
- Can be reliable
- Has tranportation
- Has experience with children
- Has experience with children with special needs
Pay: $18.00 per hour
