We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Junior Summer Camp Counselors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children in a fun and engaging camp environment, fostering their growth and development through various activities. As a Junior Summer Camp Counselor, you will help create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable atmosphere for campers while assisting in the planning and execution of daily camp programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help plan and implement engaging educational and recreational programs that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth.
- Provide support in managing group dynamics and resolving conflicts among campers.
- Foster positive relationships with campers by being approachable, friendly, and supportive.
- Collaborate with senior counselors to maintain an organized camp environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childhood development and behavior management.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff regarding camp activities and camper progress.
Skills
