Job Summary
We seek a passionate and dedicated Infant Assisatnt Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and working with children aged 6 weeks to 18 months.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants
- Develop and follow a daily schedule that incorporates learning, playtime, and rest periods
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive educational team
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and behavior effectively
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
