What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Director position at TSL Kids Crew?
TSL is seeking a full time daycare director in the Schenectady area. TSL Adventures has been in business for seventeen years and promotes itself as one of the largest private daycare chains in New York state. Serving children throughout the capital region out to Syracuse at every age through daycare centers, UPK programs, after school programs, and summer camp programs.
We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
- Professionally driven
- Previous experience in an administrative daycare role and strong awareness of child daycare regulations
- Previous years teaching in a daycare setting either as an infant, toddler, or preschool lead
- An understanding of how to promote a childcare center with strong leadership, keen awareness of center aesthetic, and strong management and organizational skills
- Willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate with other center directors within the company
- Strong and professional staff and parent communications skills
- A strong love and passion for your children and early childcare development
- Problem solver
Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS in Childhood education
- Two years of experience in a daycare administration position
- Reliable
- Strong staff management skills
- Awareness of daycare regulations
