Hydraulic Mechanic- First Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team at our Elwood, IL location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the auto-ramps at the BNSF facility. This is a first shift position. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the business needs of the facility.

Hydraulic Mechanic Duties:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on auto-ramps at the BNSF facility
• Repair leaks and change hoses on hydraulic systems
• Complete light welding repairs
• Perform maintenance on automotive electrical systems
• Perform basic auto tune-ups and oil changes
• Complete work orders
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Experience with 12-volt electric systems
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass E-Rail Safe program
