Duties
- Operate various industrial sewing machines with precision to produce consistent, high-quality seams and garment construction.
- Follow detailed work instructions to ensure accurate seam construction and dimensional measurements.
- Handle materials carefully, including fabric and other textiles, ensuring proper placement for sewing processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards in production areas, including machine safety protocols and proper handling of materials.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the sewing process to meet established quality standards in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of garment sewing, seam construction, and garment construction techniques.
- Knowledge of quality standards in production and the ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and safe machine operation practices.
- Ability to handle materials efficiently.
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
