Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Canvasser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential customers through door-to-door canvassing and telemarketing efforts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to effectively negotiate and close sales.
Duties
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to promote our products/services and generate leads.
- Engage with potential customers, providing information and answering questions about offerings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers through effective communication and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize marketing approaches and improve canvassing techniques.
- Supervise and mentor new canvassing team members as needed, providing guidance on best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with customers and report feedback to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, canvassing, or door-to-door marketing is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment.
- Strong background in customer service, showcasing the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with negotiation tactics and the ability to close sales successfully.
- Experience in telemarketing or fundraising is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging potential customers and conveying product benefits.
