Project Manager - Security Integration

Job Description:

TSG is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager with expertise in security systems and fire alarm installation. The successful candidate will manage projects in accordance with budgeting, code compliance, and oversee the field operations team assigned to each project. Our Project Managers work closely with our sales division, engineering team, installation technicians, and customers. We prioritize customer service and high-quality deliverables to ensure professional execution of our projects. We expect our Project Managers to maintain a high degree of communication with both our internal team and customers, paying attention to detail in all aspects of project planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all phases of assigned projects, including scheduling technicians, managing materials, and ensuring effective customer communication.
• Ensure adherence to the scope of work, project schedules, and budgets.
• Provide support, guidance, and expertise to field operations and engineering teams.
• Manage work in progress (WIP) for project schedules and forecasting.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers, contractors, and internal staff.
• Conduct field site visits with the sales team and technicians throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications for proposals and installations.
• Monitor and manage proposed change orders on projects.
• Participate in weekly project manager meetings with the team.
• Monitor project financials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Qualifications:

• Technical certifications, PMP, or an Associate degree in Project Management or a related field.
• Experience with BOSCH security systems is highly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience as a project manager in the commercial security system industry.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of the security and access control industry.
• OSHA 10 safety standard certification.
