Security & Access Control Coordinator

Location: Nashville, TN
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, fully onsite
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually

Position Overview

A leading financial services firm is seeking an Access Control Coordinator to support daily building access and credentialing operations at its Nashville office. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining employee and visitor credentials, processing access requests, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the company's access control program.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential employee and facility information. Hands-on, operational-level experience with C•CURE is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, encode, print, activate, renew, and deactivate employee and contractor identification badges
• Process building access requests in accordance with established company procedures
• Add and update cardholder records, access levels, schedules, and permissions within C•CURE
• Coordinate badge and access needs for new hires, employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors
• Maintain accurate visitor lists, credential records, and access documentation
• Review access requests for completeness and proper authorization
• Monitor access-related activity and assist with routine system alerts or inquiries
• Support periodic reviews and audits of badge records, access permissions, visitor logs, and card-reader activity
• Troubleshoot routine badge, credential, and access issues
• Escalate system, hardware, or card-reader problems to the appropriate internal team or outside vendor
• Respond to employee questions regarding badge access and facility entry
• Coordinate with facilities, human resources, technology, and other internal departments as needed
• Protect confidential employee, visitor, and facility information
• Perform additional administrative and access-control duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on, operational-level experience using C•CURE
• Experience creating and managing badges, cardholder records, access levels, and building permissions
• Previous experience in access control, credential management, facilities operations, or a related administrative role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and service-oriented approach when assisting employees and visitors
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced office environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting access control operations in a corporate or financial services environment
• Familiarity with visitor management systems, badge printers, card readers, and credentialing equipment
• Experience conducting access reviews or maintaining documentation for audits and compliance
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, or a related field

Important Requirements

• This position is fully onsite in Nashville, Tennessee, five days per week
• Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available
• Candidates must already have practical, operational experience using C•CURE
• This is not an IT desktop support position
• This is not an armed guard position
