The successful candidate will be analytical, organized, comfortable working with large datasets, and capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track purchase orders, lead times, shipments, deliveries, and inventory receipts.
  • Ensure newly received equipment is properly recorded and added to the appropriate inventory systems.
  • Partner with the Technology Support team to determine equipment needs and establish effective lifecycle procedures.
  • Assess the organization's current IT asset management practices and help advance the function from reactive inventory tracking to a proactive, data-driven program.
  • Develop repeatable processes, controls, and governance standards that improve asset visibility and accountability.
  • Ensure new hardware and software assets are identified, reviewed, and investigated promptly.
  • Support compliance with organizational security, technology-use, and asset-management policies.
  • Analyze asset-management data to identify risks, gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Optimize software license usage and global hardware inventory levels.
  • Conduct hands-on inventory management and stockroom audits for the New York office.
  • Ensure technology inventory is organized, accessible, secure, and properly maintained.
  • Create and maintain reports and documentation that support operational decisions and audit requirements.
  • Forecast future technology asset needs based on inventory levels, usage patterns, and organizational trends.
  • Participate in procurement and asset-management process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to employees and stakeholders on asset-related procedures and systems.
  • Contribute to additional technology and operational projects as needed.
Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to influence positive behavior and encourage adherence to established processes.
  • Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable IT service-management platform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Axonius.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Lansweeper, Rapid7, or similar technology-management platforms.
  • Experience with technology end-of-life and secure disposal policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
