POSITION OVERVIEW1/ST is seeking an HR Generalist to support and enhance our day-to-day HR operations by providing expertise in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates; coordinate onboarding processes and new hire orientation.
- Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive working environment.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment, respond to employee inquiries, and liaise with benefits providers as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain employee records systems accurately.
- Performance Management: Assist with the performance review process, goal setting, and employee development initiatives.
- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Support the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Help develop and coordinate training sessions, track employee development programs, and maintain training records.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of HR experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (preference given to ADP).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
