What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applebee's Bartender position at TSFR Apple Venture, LLC - (Applebee's)?
The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following Applebee’s recipe specifications as well as serves food to guests in a courteous and timely manner. The Bartender fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values.
Essential Job Functions
Primary Duties:
• Provide exceptional service to guests by interacting verbally to all guests in a friendly manner
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
• Mix and serve drinks following set Applebee’s recipes
• Greet guests in a timely manner, take orders and answer guest questions
• Collect payment from guests in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and TEAM by completing opening and closing side work
• Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
• Use bar tools to avoid bar waste and help maintain bar costs
• Restock product at the beginning and end of every shift including cutting and/or slicing of product for the garnish bin
Educational / Experience
• 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine and mixed cocktails
• Ability to be mobile or standing for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests’ expectations
• Confident, outgoing demeanor
Physical and Mental Requirements
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
