Position summary:
TS Tech will implement an updated Enterprise Resource Planning system. As Procurement – Shared Services, you will be part of the team that implements and maintains active procurement of direct material needed in a JIT manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for learning and becoming a subject matter expert in functional areas related to procurement in the QAD system.
Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:
Education: Graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Production and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics or a closely related field or equivalent work experience in multiple areas. APICS or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Experience: Three years or more of progressively responsible related experience in procurement, manufacturing, or operations management. Knowledge of QAD is a plus.
Skill Set: Effective written and oral communications skills with the ability to work across the organization. Knowledge of information technology and integrated enterprise resource applications. Ability to learn quickly. Problem solving/root cause analysis. Experience in training and presenting, fluency in English and Spanish required.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with plant facilities to understand manufacturing processes, production schedules and effectively procure product to meet ideal Inventory targets to support a JIT manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with enterprise systems, specializing in Procurement of manufacturing products.
- Ability to ask users about their processes and how they could be automated and improved.
- Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability.
- Ability to lead and solve problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to work independently and manage numerous deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours.
- Understanding of how schedule changes will impact the end user(s).
- Ability to professionally manage multiple production lines and customers.
- Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data.
- Experience with enterprise systems, particularly with:
- Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Procurement via scheduled release orders to supply base.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- It is an essential function of this position that the Associate be on the work site in person to perform their job duties throughout each scheduled work week. TSAM operates most effectively with the kind of teamwork, personal interaction, and supervision that cannot be achieved in a home office environment.
