What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician (1st shift) position at TS Food Packaging?
Summary
Seeking a Quality Technician to work first shift Monday-Friday (6:55 am - 3:05 pm). This role supports the quality team in standard food safety processes to ensure compliance and works with production staff to ensure inspection and testing procedures are maintained.
Responsibilities
. Works independently to inspect raw materials, finished products supplies, and equipment for adherence to quality specifications.
· Conduct line checks and performs testing as needed, performs weight and label verification. Work with quality team to monitor corrective action activities.
· Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and adherence to all food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quality role required, preferably in food safety environment
- Knowledge of food safety in manufacturing facility a plus
- Must have good communication skills, basic math and computer skills required.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Bilingual skills a plus
