Position: Board-Certified Cardiologist
We’re actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to help expand our cardiovascular services and support our growing patient base in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based approaches
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, vascular studies, and stress tests (exercise, nuclear, and stress echocardiograms)
- Collaborate with primary care providers on cardiovascular disease management
- Participate in limited rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns
- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in cardiovascular medicine
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) in North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (ABIM)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Athenahealth experience preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship experience in cardiology
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Compassionate communicator with a patient-first mindset
