Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with retail math and sales techniques
- Understanding of brewing processes and beer styles is a plus
- Strong math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Experience in catering or event bartending is beneficial
- Proficiency in using Revel POS or similar point-of-sale systems
