Position Title: License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice,Mayfield, KY, 42066
Duration: Open ended
Department: DJJ
Pay Rate: $45.00-$50.00/hr
Work Schedule:
- 7.5-hour workday
- Schedule options: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break
- Overtime and occasional weekend coverage may be required
- On-call support for behavioral health emergencies
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth within the facility.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
- Conduct crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments.
- Manage suicide/homicide watch cases and develop safety plans.
- Complete clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and court reports.
- Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
- Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, families, courts, schools, and community partners.
- Develop behavioral management plans for youth with challenging behaviors.
- Coordinate referrals for higher levels of psychiatric care when necessary.
- Serve as on-call clinical support for after-hours emergencies.
- Participate in evidence-based therapeutic programming after completion of required DJJ training.
- Maintain compliance with DJJ policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards.
Preferred Primary Licenses:
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- LPCC (Preferred)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Preferred)
