We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Apheresis to provide specialized patient care and perform therapeutic apheresis procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in apheresis services, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and monitor therapeutic apheresis procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Participate in weekend and holiday on-call coverage as required.
Requirements:
- Active RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital Apheresis experience.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Additional Information:
- Weekend and holiday on-call coverage required.
- Minimum one full weekend of on-call coverage per month.
Salary : $60 - $68
