Job Summary:

Key Details:

• Role: AI Developer (.NET / LLM integration preferred)
• Location: Onsite – Austin, TX (78701)

• Design and develop an AI assistant / chatbot for internal staff use
• Build end-to-end LLM-powered applications, including:
  • User input handling (chat interface / web UI)
  • Prompt orchestration and response generation
  • Backend logic and API integrations
• Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies to improve accuracy, consistency, and usability
• Implement multi-step reasoning workflows (AI chaining / agent-like behavior)
• Build and manage:
  • Context handling (memory, session awareness)
  • Structured outputs and response validation
• Integrate AI models (Claude or similar) via API into a working application
• Iterate rapidly based on feedback to improve usability and performance
• Translate business questions into practical AI use cases and working tools

  Required Skills & Experience
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, such as:
  • Chatbots
  • AI assistants
  • Copilots or LLM-based tools
• Strong experience working with:
  • Large Language Models (Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
  • Prompt engineering and prompt optimization
• Proven ability to:
  • Build end-to-end AI workflows, not just integrate APIs
  • Develop working solutions from loosely defined requirements
• Programming experience in at least one of the following:
  • Python (preferred)
  • C# / .NET
• Experience working with:
  • APIs, web services, and backend logic
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with business users

• Experience with:
  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
  • Vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)
  • AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.)
• Experience building AI tools for:
  • Internal knowledge retrieval
  • Process automation
  • Decision support
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)

• Comfortable working in an early-stage, exploratory environment
• Able to take business ideas and turn them into functional AI tools quickly
• Focused on delivering usable, practical solutions for end users

• This is not a traditional software development role. It is best suited for a developer who specializes in building AI-powered applications and can deliver a working assistant or chatbot from concept to deployment.
