Job Description:
Job Position: Travel RN - Med/Surg (candidates above 60 miles will be accepted)
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 7 p – 7 a- 12 hr night shift
Payrate weekly gross : $2592-$2808
Note:-
- Coronary Care experience needed as well
- Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.
- First time travelers will NOT be considered
- Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
- RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
- Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.
- Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing..
- Licensure: Current and valid RN license in the state of NY
- Certifications: BLS Certificate (BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.)
- Covid card with booster
- Driving license
- 2 references
