Key Expectations 

We are seeking a highly motivated, licensed Architect with 10–15 years of experience to serve as Senior Project Manager. The candidate will lead complex commercial, interiors, multi-family, mixed-use, and civic projects. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, client relationship management, and project delivery expertise. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Actively lead a project through all project phases, from concept to completion exhibiting initiative, problem solving, highly detail oriented and a keen eye for design 
  • Positively motivate staff, clients, and all stakeholders with whom the firm interacts 
  • Creatively inspire staff with design ideas aligned to firm principles 
  • Manage and lead projects, schedules, and budgets with consistency and effectiveness 
  • Excellent communication skills – taking the lead to convey concepts, ideas and information 
  • Exercise judgment in taking appropriate, calculated risks 
  • Motivated to develop and sustain strong personal and professional relationships with the firm’s leadership and staff allowing for open dialogue and productive feedback.  
  • Develop and oversee concept through construction document production for complex and technical projects 
  • Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and practices 


Leadership Qualities 

  • Inspirational, collaborative leadership that motivates staff and builds trust with clients 
  • Ability to guide clients toward design decisions that reflect their vision and align with firm principles 

 



Qualifications 

  • Licensed professional with a graduate or professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred) 
  • 10-15 years of professional experience (licensed preferred) 
  • Experience in project management and construction administration for commercial/ institutional and residential construction 
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, BIM360, and Adobe Suite 
  • Comfortable generating design concepts in hand sketch form 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
