Duties
- Develop customized personal training plans tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels
- Lead diverse group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, dance-based workouts, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT)
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure correct body mechanics to maximize safety and effectiveness
- Motivate clients through energetic coaching, positive reinforcement, and clear instruction on exercise routines
- Conduct assessments of clients’ anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics to inform program design
- Ensure safety by applying manual handling techniques and responding promptly with first aid or CPR/AED procedures when necessary
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their progress and addressing their questions or concerns
- Design innovative fitness programs that incorporate strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility exercises, and functional movement principles
Experience
- Proven experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor within the fitness industry
- Certification in CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation and first aid required; additional certifications such as NASM, ACE, ACSM preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports coaching principles
- Experience leading group fitness classes across various modalities including yoga, Pilates, cycling, dancing or CrossFit
- Strong understanding of gym equipment operation and heavy lifting techniques with an emphasis on safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations and foster motivational coaching environments
- Prior health club or gym experience is highly desirable for understanding client engagement and program sales

Pay: $23.83 - $28.70 per hour
