Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts including reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for forklift operation
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts and heavy machinery
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Certification in forklift operation is preferred but not required
