We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of physician-directed healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in family/internal medicine and preferably hospital medicine. They will be responsible for doing triage H&Ps to ensure patients are medically stable to be inpatient at these facilities, ensure chronic medical conditions are controlled, home medications are reconciled appropriately, assess and treat any acute medical conditions and coordinate with the psychiatric team as needed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state laws and regulations..
- Document patient care in the medical record in timely manner.
Pay: From $74.00 per hour
