What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Keyboardist and Drummer position at Truth Church?
We are a welcoming, non-denominational church in Fayetteville, Georgia, committed to creating an authentic worship experience where people can encounter God. We are currently seeking two gifted and dependable musicians to join our worship team:
- Keyboardist (Substitute): Available to fill in approximately 2–3 Sundays per month.
- Drummer (Regular Position): Available to play every Sunday.
As a member of our worship team, you will use your musical gifts to help create an atmosphere of worship that is engaging, Spirit-led, and supportive of our congregation's worship experience. We are looking for musicians who are dependable, collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about serving through music.
Our worship style is a blend of contemporary Christian worship and gospel music. We frequently lead songs by artists such as Maverick City Music, Judith McAllister, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Israel Houghton, and Elevation Worship among others. Applicants should be comfortable playing in these styles and be able to follow the flow of live worship.
Schedule
- Sundays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the worship leader and fellow musicians.
- Demonstrate flexibility and sensitivity to the flow of worship.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled services.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented ministry environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency on either keyboard or drums.
- Experience playing in a church worship setting preferred.
- Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship and gospel music.
- Ability to adapt to different musical styles and spontaneous moments during worship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a worship team.
