Trustwell Living at Kent Place is hiring a Full-Time Resident Care Coordinator. This is a hands-on non-office job that includes Scheduling, Managing call-outs, Caregiving, medication passing, and people skills.
Job Requirements
- Must possess a current Medication Assistance Certificate from a state-recognized medication assistance program if required by state.
- Must have prior experience (minimum 2 years) with passing medications and caring for elders, with an outstanding work history record.
- Must be willing and able to work the floor as a caregiver/med tech if unable to find coverage for any shifts, and perform caregiving and medication technician positions across all shifts.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English'
- Assisting with new employee orientation as needed and coordinating training for new caregiving staff.
- Must be willing to take a 24-hour call on a rotating basis. As well as any other tasks assigned by the Administration.
- Must have a true love and passion for making a difference in the lives of the elderly.
- Must appreciate the holistic wellness approach and enjoy caring for those who suffer from memory loss.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
- Must have critical thinking skills to solve problems, make on-the-spot decisions, and handle conflict when necessary.
