Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our beautiful assisted living apartments and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties, managing laundry, and providing exceptional customer service to residents. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident apartments, common areas and the kitchen including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchenettes, and high-touch surfaces
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident needs promptly and professionally
- Handle janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling and inventory control
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with laundry operations and managing linens in a professional setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of janitorial supplies and safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeper management is a plus
