What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint One is pleased to assist a litigation firm based in Birmingham, Michigan in its search for an Attorney to assist the firm in a temporary role. This is an in-office role and has the potential to become permanent for the right attorney.
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Significant motion practice and discovery responsibilities
- Perform research
- Trial preparation
- Represent clients in bench and jury trials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Member, in good standing, of the Michigan bar.
- Experience handling auto-negligence litigation. Experience with commercial and employment litigation is a plus.
- Adaptable with the ability to step into a heavy auto-negligence docket quickly.
- Must be comfortable working with municipal-client workflows.
All candidates must be able to work on a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
