Defense Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
• Lead complex defense litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Develop and execute strategic legal defenses for a diverse client base.
• Oversee and mentor a team of junior attorneys, fostering growth and professional development.
• Collaborate with clients, senior partners, and legal staff to ensure top-tier service and results.
• Conduct depositions of fact and expert witnesses with confidence and precision.
• Make court appearances on all routine pre-trial matters.
• Attend court hearings on various motions and argue the client’s position.
• Manage case budgets, deadlines, and ensure compliance with firm policies.
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 10-15 years of defense litigation experience, with a strong record of success.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing junior attorneys.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
