Trustpoint One is pleased to assist a leading financial institution in its search for an Asset-Based Lending Attorney for a long-term temporary project. The successful attorney will assist in providing highly structured asset based solutions for a variety of complex financings. The position offers remote flexibility.
Asset Based Lending Attorney Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the legal team in providing day-to-day legal support to the Asset Based Lending group including coordinating the legal team’s role in supporting and advising on secured asset-based lending credit facilities.
- Reviewing and negotiating credit and collateral documentation, amendments, waivers, term sheets, proposal and commitment letters, and intercreditor agreements.
- Reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements and non-reliance letters.
- Updating loan document templates .
- Researching and advising on various legal issues impacting secured credit facilities and asset-based lending.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor.
- Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in state of residence.
- Minimum 5 years practicing experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Experience with secured credit facilities.
- Experience with asset-based lending credit facilities and/or familiarity with borrowing bases from cash flow lending.
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for secured lending (including asset- based lending).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
All candidates must be able to work on a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
