We are helping our client find a Labor & Employment Law Attorney to join their Detroit or Troy offices.
Required:
· Current Michigan Law License in good standing.
· 5-10 years of employment litigation experience.
· Candidate’s experience should include client contact and responsibility for file management.
· Experience handling complex traditional labor issues, including union organizing, labor contract negotiations, grievance administration, restructuring/relocation of unionized businesses and handling unfair labor practice charge.
· Experience handling complex employment matters such as pre-hire screening, discrimination, harassment, wage-hour, policy administration, substance abuse, FMLA, discipline, whistleblower, retaliation, discharge, and plant closings/reductions in force.
· High degree of responsiveness.
· Advanced written communication skills.
