How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Strategic Finance & Analytics Associate, you’ll work directly with the CFO and senior leadership team to drive high-impact finance and operational analytics initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping company decisions by blending financial modeling, data analytics, and strategic insight.

What You’ll Do
A. Corporate Finance & Capital Raising:

• Updating & maintaining the company financial models for each of our business lines
• Creating board packs & investor presentations, and managing the VDR
• Interacting with current & potential investors to explain our business, answer diligence questions, and build relationships

B. Data Analytics:

• Using SQL to extract data for custom analyses, marrying financial & operational data to generate insights that power business decisions
• Designing & maintaining a single source of truth for core metrics (revenue, costs, unit economics, cohort/LTV, etc.), with high data-quality checks
• Building & iterating dashboards for monthly reviews; applying visualization best practices to surface insights
• Translating ambiguous business questions into clear analysis plans (inputs, methods, assumptions), and turning results into concise recommendations for the senior leadership team

C. FP&A Delivery:

• Building & tracking company KPIs, including trend analysis
• Working with senior management & country leads to set & track business targets and budgets, and to undertake scenario analysis
• Building & tracking financial & operational models for key partnerships
• Conducting industry research, including (but not limited to) market share, growth projections, trends, competitors, etc.

What We’re Looking For

• Keen interest in pursuing finance & strategy in a startup environment, or in the area of fintech & AI
• At least 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis, as well as Excel/Sheets to build financial models. Both skills are must-haves.
• Background in investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, business intelligence, or data analytics
• Experience in detailed modeling (Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets) and in conceptualizing & creating presentation slides that communicate clear messages
• Comfortable working in a multicultural team and interacting with specialists from different disciplines
• Working knowledge of financial accounting concepts and a willingness to learn; CPA NOT required
• Ability to build dashboards using Looker Studio (or have experience with building dashboards on other platforms, and willing to learn)
