Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week (Potential increase to 40 hours/week after 90 days)

Caring For: 1 Child | 5 years old

Compensation: $28–$30/hour (DOE)

Description: A warm, refined family in Tucson is seeking a career-level Private Household Nanny to provide thoughtful, developmentally focused care for their bright, independent 5 year old. We’re looking for someone caring, energetic, and imaginative. The ideal candidate brings creativity, positive energy, and a genuine appreciation for fostering curiosity, confidence, and growth.

This is a long-term placement for a career nanny accustomed to high-level private homes who values discretion, consistency, and thoughtful caregiving.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Childcare Duties

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care
• Manage after-school and evening routines, including school pick-up, meals, hygiene, and wind-down
• Plan enriching activities, educational outings, and age-appropriate experiences
• Encourage creativity, independence, emotional awareness, and confidence
• Maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment with proactive supervision

Family Communication & Support

• Communicate consistently with parents regarding routines, milestones, and developmental progress
• Track weekly expenses and stipends related to meals, activities, and incidentals
• Support overall household flow as it relates to the child’s care
  

• Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience, including private or high-net-worth households
• Polished, discreet, and highly professional in demeanor
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment
• Organized, proactive, and safety-focused
• Comfortable working within structured environments with high expectations
• Seeking a long-term, career-level placement
• Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Able to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings
• Professional references required (no personal references; references are heavily weighted in the selection process)
