Maintenance Technician II - Night Shift
TruStile Doors, a recognized leader in premium door manufacturing, is growing—and we’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to grow with us. Our team keeps production running safely and efficiently by combining strong technical skills with a proactive, team-first mindset. As a Maintenance Technician II, you’ll take point on performing and improving preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment as well as using advanced troubleshooting skills to support process improvements, safety compliance, and documentation.
This position is for our Night shift! You'll work with a dedicated team from 5:30pm to 5:30am to keep things moving smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Use CMMS for work order management and documentation.
- Support and improve preventive maintenance programs.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and hot work protocols.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Communicate and escalate issues to management and vendors.
- Mentor entry-level technicians as needed.
- Maintain continuity across shifts by documenting actions and irregularities.
- Participate in safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, NFPA, OSHA, and other safety standards.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams).
- Ability to work assigned shift, including overtime and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 60 lbs
- Stand/walk for extended periods
- Work in varying conditions
Alternating Schedule:
- Week 1 (36 hours): Tuesday - Thursday, 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
- Week 2 (48 hours): Monday - Thursday, 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
Pay Rate:
$31.62 - $37.78 (This salary includes our 15% night shift differential added onto the base salary range of $27.50 - $32.86)
