The IT Sourcing Manager will be responsible for performing
analysis of Information Technology spend and contracts in order to recommend,
approve and purchase desktop, network and server hardware and software for the company
IT team. This role assists in establishing and maintaining a centralized
process for IT procurement, distribution and tracking of corporate technology
related assets, and functions in matters and problem resolution relating to
software/hardware purchases. Attends project meetings and compiles information
for the purpose of analyzing vendor price across the competition and according
to industry standards and best practices. The IT Procurement Analyst will
coordinate activities between internal customers and suppliers; manage
day-to-day operations in assigned business areas and negotiate price under the
supervision of the Senior Manager, IT Contracts and Vendor Management. This
role will track historical and on-going spend, purchase details, category
performance and cost savings, and support the IT Sr Sourcing Managers in the
areas of administration, asset management, contract management and supplier
management.
Core Responsibilities
- Manages sourcing functions such as preparing spreadsheets, reviewing
requirements, updating word documents, creating purchase orders and
placing orders for project related hardware and software purchasing
activities. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as
required.
- Assists with and participates in negotiating vendor pricing, terms
and discounts for IT hardware and software purchases. Works
collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and
execute vendor negotiations and service improvement.
- Evaluates vendors on their ability to deliver products in a timely,
cost-effective and quality manner and make recommendations for changes in
source of supply where appropriate. Facilitates, supports, and executes
end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement processes for designated
categories of IT Procurement spend/contracts.
- Reviews bids, conducts supplier analysis, screens suppliers, builds
evaluation and selection Performs negotiations with guidance from
procurement leadership team as necessary and makes recommendations for
vendor selection.
- Manages contract management process, upkeep, and renewals.
- Implements effective processes to improve contract adoption and
compliance across operating Analyzes business processes and identify
opportunities to increase efficiency while reducing costs. Identifies and
recommends cost savings opportunities through data analysis.
- Stays current with relevant advances in technologies. Responsible
for maintaining and updating knowledge of IT policies and procedures,
hardware, software, and technical This can include on-the-job training,
attending technical courses or conferences, reading, and research.
Develops and follows best practices and procedures and share knowledge
with team members.
- Demonstrates skill development by actively participating in growth
opportunities for continuous development and improvement and applying new
skills/knowledge to the job as evident by the ability to efficiently and
effectively perform assigned duties, resulting in meeting or exceeding
customer expectations and performance metrics.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s
Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2 years of
relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and
experience, required.
- Strong

- Excellent with
multi-tasking, follow-up and execution of assignments.
- Possesses good
