Requirements :
Education : Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School.
Experience : At least 2 years in an acute care setting.
Certifications : Must be registry-eligible for Echocardiographic Technician Certification and have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Key Responsibilities : As an Echo Technician, you will :
Perform and monitor echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasounds), calculating, measuring, and documenting results for physician interpretation.
Collaborate with physicians and staff on patient care and communicate any clinical changes during procedures.
