**Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience:• 12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 12 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:
Guaranteed hours: 36
Float Requirements: float to NICU and PICU as needed
Weekend requirements: Every other
Holidays: rotate every other
Education: ASN or BSN; BSN preferred
Special skills: Cardiac, High acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests.
Unit: West 3 – Pediatric CICU; Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates/infants up to adult congenital patient.
Use critical thinking and cardiac assessments to provide nursing care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients. Provide nursing care for the hemodynamically compromised patients and patients with impending respiratory failure.
